At Sara’s Little Sunflowers I believe in providing a holistic environment which enables children from a young age to learn independence through play. I have been very fortunate to have a range of experience as a former primary school teacher. I have worked within early years, key stage one and key stage two whilst being a mother of three.
I believe in a range of teaching and nurturing practices which support each child as an individual. I have a personal interest in the Montessori approach and blend these practices with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) expectations. I also enjoy adapting and planning around a child's schemas of play and individual interests.
A partnership with parents is important so that the child can blossom in my care. I believe in open lines of communication and working together for the best interest of your child.
